HOW TO BECOME FRIENDS WITH YOUR PROBLEMS

 Now that sounds like an oxymoron. Problems are frustrating. Problems are emotional energy thieves. Problems are time and emotional energy suckers. Why would I say you need to become friends with your problems. 

HERE'S WHY:

"Successful people are not people without problems. They are people who have learned to solve their problems".

It is important to learn to recognize and respond to the positive purpose of your problems. You will never be able to solve your problems until you begin to view them as a friend that is there for the sole purpose of strengthening you as your continue your journey thru life. What ever your station in life and whatever your goal in life is, there will be problems. WELCOME TO THE HUMAN RACE.

Recognizing that you have a problem is half of the solution. If you continue to allow the same circumstances to continue to control you, you will never see the changes you desire. Believe it or not, you do have the ability to create the circumstances you desire in your life. I say it like this:
"Stop being a circumstantial creator and become an intentional creator".

Wow! I'm sure you might be thinking "Dr. G, you just don't know how bad my circumstances are". Well, brace yourself, I don't have to know. Here's why, "Every problem has a death sentence and for many of those, you are the executioner".

Now this is going to sound weird but once you learn how to become friends with your problems and learn how to respond to the positive purpose of those problems, then and only then will you be able to put certain problems to death.

When the wind blows against the mighty oak tree, it strengthens it so as it matures, it can withstand stronger winds in the future. I will close this portion for today and come back next week to continue sharing with you how your problems may just become some of your best friends. - Dr. G
